President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has modernized warfare by developing the effectiveness of military drones. The drones are pilotless and operate electronically over great distances, as much as a thousand miles. The obvious advantages are their low cost and that they’re unmanned, and therefore there is no possible loss of personnel in the mission. The drones are capable of pinpoint accuracy in destroying enemy military targets.
Russia is losing more men than they can recruit. They are poorly trained, morale is low, and desertion rates are high. Ukrainians had hoped the United States would render support, but instead Trump berated Zelensky at the White House and withdrew support and simultaneously praised Putin. In addition, he sought to divert peace negotiations in favor of Russia.
Trump is destroying U.S. relationships with many countries by implementation of tariffs, sanctions, threats to leave NATO, and annexation of other nations’ territory. His modus operandi is to negotiate on the fly with little forethought or planning.
