There is too much crooked stuff going on here.
It’s not just Trump, either. You’ve heard of Project 2025, right? I haven’t read the whole thing, though it’s about time I think. I was recently shocked, but not surprised, considering the present mess with the traffic controllers at the airports, to hear that Project 2025 has a plan for them:
Step 1: Strip TSA workers of their union rights.
Step 2: Defund the agency until it collapses.
Step 3: Then say the government can’t run airport security.
Step 4: Appoint security to private contractors.
They’re not even hiding it; Mike Lee and Tommy Tuberville have already introduced legislation, the “Abolish the TSA ACT”.
Now, who do think has enough money to buy the TSA? Could it be the billionaire friends of the GOP? And what do you think will happen then? Billionaires don’t spend money on things that won’t make them a lot more money. They spent billions getting Republicans elected in the last election, and look what happened then. They got HUGE tax breaks, at the expense of all the rest of us.
On the other hand, there has been some good news: Over ten million people showed up to protest this stupid, corrupt government and president on March 28. It was a good time even in Ely despite the weather. And one of the two trucks that drove over the speed limit, gunning their engines, with their middle finger stuck up toward us, was pulled up by the police a couple of blocks later! Ha!
I’m not paid. I’m not violent. But I am ticked. Be very afraid. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
