Adeline R. Wooster
Adeline Rosalie Wooster, 82, of Linden Grove Township, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at Bear River Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Mlaker Funeral Home of Cook.
Adeline was born in Duluth, to Gerald and Rosalie Sheehy. She married George Wooster on Dec. 9, 1999. Adeline was a devoted wife and mother and served as a Tribal Judge for Bois Forte.
Adeline was an avid quilter. She loved her flowers, birds and her little rat terriers. Adeline loved fishing and gardening and helping George on the farm. She was a longtime member of the Bear River Lutheran Church.
Adeline is survived by her loving husband, George Wooster; sons, Brian Wooster (Billie Jo), Cody Wooster (Jennifer), Adam Wooster (Jordan), Ernest Jr. Landgren (Pauline), Gregory Landgren (Esther) and Terry Landgren (Theresa); daughter, Lorna Landgren; 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Sheehy; and sisters, Darla Flett and Carla Gustafson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Sheehy and Tom Sheehy; and sisters, Grace Isham and Geraldine Sheehy Polasky.
David W. Chavers
David “Duze” William Chavers, 68, of Nett Lake, passed away in his home on Monday, March 9, 2026. A wake will be held on Sunday, March 15 starting at 7 p.m. at Bois Forte Government and Services Center. The funeral service will be on Monday, March 16 at 10 a.m., also at the center. Arrangements are with Mlaker Funeral Home of Cook.
Cody A. Siebert
Cody Allen Siebert, 33, of Babbitt, died on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at Essentia Health - St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21 at the Mesabi East High School Gymnasium with Pastor Caleb Weight officiating. Friends and family may gather from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
He is survived by his parents, Todd and Lori Siebert of Hermantown; the love of his life, Karen Blais of Babbitt; sons, Reese and Bayne; brothers, Brandon (Ashley) and Derek Siebert, both of Duluth; niece and nephews, Stella, Jack, Otto and Eike Siebert; maternal grandmother, Jean Loushin of Duluth; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Thomas L. Riley
Thomas Lee Riley, 76, of Ely, passed away at his home on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. A service will be planned for the spring in Brainerd. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
He is survived by his son, Donavon (Leann “Annie”) Riley; grandchildren, Owen, Alma, Hoshea, Hallel and Gyda of Northfield; son, Patrick Riley of Brainerd; sister, Randi Sue Kuschke of Nisswa; nieces and a nephew.
