Rachel A. Thomatz

Rachel Ann Empting Mager Thomatz, 86, formerly of Babbitt, has died. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Babbitt, with burial to follow. Visitation will be held one hour before each service. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Good Shepherd Nursing Home and Central Care Hospice for the kindness, compassion, and care they provided.
She is survived by her children, Bonita Jean Mager-Wiltgen, Wendy (Keith) Mitchell, Jeff (Misty) Mager and Jill (Tim) Killday; stepchildren, Matt (Fern) Thomatz and Candace (Matt) Camelon; sisters, Arlene Kuechle and Patricia Empting; brother, William (Sandy) Empting; 33 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
