Running to represent Minnesota House District 3A is an honor. Over the years, our neighbors have had many opportunities to get to know me—through community work, local service, and the everyday conversations that shape our shared future. During this campaign, I spent months listening to concerns across the district through more than 10,000 conversations. People want leadership that is present, prepared, and proven. They want someone who understands the challenges facing our region and is ready to work hard from day one.
In District 3A, people want environmental protection and good jobs. We can achieve both by following the law, maintaining transparency, and respecting our community. In addition to mining, tourism and timber, I am committed to addressing the issues families face daily– paying bills, clinic access, prescription prices, rural ambulance services, and school funding.
My background in public service– 23 years as a law enforcement officer and six years as U.S. Forest Service District Ranger– has taught me the value of collaboration, accountability, and practical problem solving. These are not abstract ideas; they are skills built through real experience.
As your representative, I will focus on expanding local economies, advocating for union workers, protecting our natural resources, and ensuring rural communities have a strong voice at the Capitol. This campaign is about service, not slogans. It is about showing up, doing the work, and earning trust.
I’m on the ballot as a proven leader ready for these challenges and ask for your vote by November 3rd. Thank you.
