NETT LAKE- Roxanne Goggleye took top honors in the wild rice (manoomin) recipe contest at the Miigwech Manoomin powwow last weekend with her puffed rice blueberry crisp. There were seven entries this year. Goggleye was clearly excited with the honors, and it was the first time she had entered a recipe. Host drum at the powwow was Gaagigaaikwe, and co-hose drum was Lake Vermilion.
