We the People are responsible for our country’s troubles

Posted

We the People find ourselves victims of a ruthless, corrupt, and greedy leadership. When any head of government decides warring on another country is the answer, with peril to our military, they accept that death and destruction are tolerable. And all of us, opposed or not to such action — as citizens — share responsibility. Payment will be due, from our pockets. As we settle into the summer with all its leisure, the Iranian peoples, often considered war’s mere “collateral damage,” face a bombed-out country, rubble, and funerals.
How do we make those representing us decide this craziness is enough? While the Iranians suffer destruction, the “blue pool,” the East Wing ballroom, ICE, the ultimate White House lawn wrestling, and all other zany ideas and subterfuge are just distractions from grift. Yet do we ever read reasonable explanations among these letters as to why such is acceptable. Is it just that the market’s favorable?
We the People need to reclaim America as we honor 250 years. We the People must ask — who are we — and what are we being reduced to?
Those who voted red are responsible for these actions of war, greed, cover-ups, of irresponsibility … and the rest of us are complicit.
