President Trump often reacts without knowledge or consultation that can result in unintended consequences. His ignorance can lead to false assumptions. For example, he claimed that Canada did “nothing” for the U.S. On the contrary, Canada exported hundreds of billions of dollars of goods yearly to the U.S., some of which were unique and difficult to replace. Moreover, Canada purchased billions of dollars of our exports. As a result of his lack of knowledge, America will have a tough time replacing some of this merchandise from other countries.
He appears unread, having apparently not read the U.S. Constitution. It is a short document written in easy style that is very straightforward without the burden legalistic terms.
For instance, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.”
He appears unable to recognize the scientific evidence of climate change that greenhouse gasses threaten human life and well-being throughout the world.
He surrounded himself with unqualified personal sycophants who will follow his policies, despite the fact that they are aware the policies will be detrimental to human health and well-being.
When future scholars rank past U.S. presidents as good or bad, Trump will assuredly be at the bottom of the list. His destruction of human values and economic dynamics will take years for the U.S. to rectify.
We have lost our role of world leadership. It will take many years to restore the confidence in traditional values. We can no longer count on our voters to elect a qualified president. The current voters knowingly elected a constant liar, a hoaxer, enricher of his own wealth while in office, and a convicted felon as president, not once, but twice.
