In the June 19 issue of the Timberjay, the writer from Winton (‘Platner exposes Democrats hypocrisy’) has the outrageous audacity to call Democrats hypocrites while ignoring the depraved abuser-in-chief in the White House. Say what you want about Graham Platner, or anyone else who comes to mind, but there is no moral equivalence here, not when the comparison is to Donald Trump, a man accused of some sort of sexual impropriety, including harassment, assault, even rape, over the last 50 years by at least 28 women (they were all lying, right, Mike?). A man found guilty of sexual abuse and battery in the E. Jean Carroll case, where the judge said afterward that it was basically rape. A man who paid off a porn star to keep their affair quiet before an election. A man almost certainly up to his eyeballs in the Epstein files. I could go on and on, but what would be the point since we’re dealing with willful ignorance here — and the Democrats are hypocrites? Look in the mirror, Mike, if you have any in your house.
