I can't agree with diannedawn more. Charging these girls with tresspassing is ridiculous and certainly doesn't make the situation/problem at hand go away. These animals were starved and severely neglected, and that doesn't happen overnight.

In response to ahlquinn- some of us that live in the northland live in very rural areas and have long driveways and trees that block out all visiblilty to our property. Even the mailman delivers to a box at the end of the driveway. The general public has absolutely no idea what goes on and would never know unless they had a need to pay a visit to said property. Fortunately, there was a need to visit this property and the story unfolds. The owner should be fined with a jail sentence attached. We need to hold the deputy responsible for his hesitation in acting on this horrendous ordeal. Personal relationships that could have led to the starvation and neglect of these animals should not even enter into the equation. Neglect and stupidity are no excuse. Someone must pay, and unfortunately, it was the poor animals.
