This is supposed to be a statewide poll of eligible voters. If that is the case polling 800 people out of 3,972,330 eligible voters in Minnesota is a joke. That comes out to a paltry .02% which is such a small number that it is totally insignificant and useless in determining how the state as a whole looks at copper nickel mining. Even if you take the 800 and apply it to just the 8th District which covers 16 counties in central and Northeast Minnesota whose eligible voters total 362,370 it still only comes out to .22% which is still insignificant and is not a barometer of how people perceive copper nickel mining. The other funny thing after asking people around this area if they were polled concerning this the answer has been a resounding NO. So where exactly was this polling conducted. Just another attempt by the anti mining crowd to try and use smoke and mirrors to advance their agenda.
