TOWER- Fortune Bay Casino’s ‘Ticket in, Ticket Out’ program just donated almost $1,400 to the Tower-Soudan Athletic Association/Tower-Soudan PTO fundraiser to construct a storage shed for athletic equipment on the Tower football field. The money was raised during July, as part of the ongoing Fortune Bay donation program.
The shed will be used to store elementary athletic equipment for the soccer, flag football, and other programs. The shed needs to be large enough to safely store the soccer nets, which will require a large shed-style door.
The project has received donations so far from Nelson Williams Linings, Tower-Soudan Joint Powers Recreation Board, Frandsen Bank- Tower, Embarrass-Vermillion FCU, Tower-Soudan PTO, Paul Pishler, and Fortune Bay.
More donations are needed, and can be dropped at the Timberjay office or mailed to: TSAA, PO Box 636, Tower, MN 55790.
