Supreme Court sides with Dayton on legislative line item veto

The state's Supreme Court has ruled that Gov. Mark Dayton does have the authority to line item veto an appropriation for the Legislature. The decision reverses a district court ruling that found the veto unconstitutional. The Timberjay will have more on this story in next week's edition.
