Ely runners take charge at GR Invite

GRAND RAPIDS—Ely runners dominated at the J.A. Curran Cross Country Invite held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Grand Rapids High School. The Ely boys had four top ten finishers to take first in the event while the Ely girls took second. Top ten finishers for the boys included James Schwinghamer in second place overall, Teddy Pierce in sixth, Luke Olson in seventh and Joey Pierce in tenth.

The girls were led by Erin Bianco and Ryne Prigge, in third and fourth place overall respectively.
