Don’t forget the famous “down ballot” races

I want to remind voters to make sure you scan down to the bottom of the left-hand column on your ballot. That’s where you’ll find the race for the Minnesota State House, District 3A.
The Minnesota State House member represents you at the most direct, grassroots level of governance. Some of the most important aspects of your everyday life, including areas such as education, transportation, health services, taxes, environment, criminal justice, work force, and economic development are addressed by the Legislature.
And at the bottom of your ballot this year is where you’ll find Harley Droba, who wants to bring your voice to St. Paul.
Harley is the current mayor of International Falls, where he’s learned how to work with state government to address the needs of rural Minnesotans. He’s a business owner, veteran, community volunteer, and an honest, decent young man. He’s a listener and a breath of fresh air.
Harley Droba is a champion for affordable and accessible health care—especially ambulance services. He knows we also need child care services, housing, and economic development to make our rural communities livable and prosperous.
So, don’t forget the whole package of candidates: the one who will bring your concerns to  St. Paul. You won’t find a harder worker for you than Harley Droba.
For more information, see his website at www.harleydroba.com.
