HIBBING – Ely rode the strength of its relays and an individual win by Caroline Homer to finish in sixth place out of 10 teams at Thursday’s Lynae Morrow Invite in Hibbing.

Homer took home the top spot in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:53.3, while also helping the Wolves’ victorious 4x400 relay team including Ryne Prigge, Maggie Isbell and Erin Bianco (4:12.16) and 4x800 relay team including Emma Terwilliger, Prigge and Bianco (10:08.39).

Maggie Isbell earned runner-up honors in the 300 hurdles (51.34) and the long jump (16-feet, 0.5-inches) and Brielle Kallberg earned fourth place in the long jump (15-feet, 5.5-inches).

Also earning points for the Wolves were, in fifth place: Kalyssa Eilrich in the 3,200 (14:19.76) and the 4x100 relay team of Brooke Pasmick, Evelyn Bercher, Sarah Isbell and Kallberg (58.02); in sixth place: Anna Nelson in the 800 (3:03.65); in seventh place: Taryn Osthoff in the 1,600 (6:27.3) and the 4x200 relay team of Terwilliger, Bercher, Sarah Isbell and Kallberg (2:04.29); and in ninth place: Lauren Olson in the 300 hurdles (55.98).
