What a beautiful day. We just took our boat out for the last time on Lake Vermilion before heading back home to Chicago.
Hoodoo Point Campground has been our summer vacation place for the past nine years. We love our spot facing the lake, sitting by the campfires, boating and exploring our favorite haunts. We especially enjoy the Tower Quilt Shop, the bear and wolf sanctuaries, the casino, Good Ol’ Days Bar and Grill, Tower Cafe and the Ely Blueberry Festival.
Hoodoo Point’s management couple Dave and Stephanie had always pleased us. They were capable and helpful.
When we heard they were going to retire from their positions last year, we were a bit anxious as to how our future camping trips would be. Wow! We are so fortunate that Randy and Julie stepped up and into big shoes to fill.
Julie is friendly and so helpful. Randy is always moving and cleaning. They have wonderful personalities that made the campground a great place to camp.
The remodeled office is beautiful with ice cream, coffee and more to make for an inviting space for all to frequent.
Thank you Julie and Randy. We appreciate your dedication, your expertise and most of all your thoughtfulness. We can’t wait to return next July.
