My name is Corrie Hoeschen Ehrbright and my family is in the process of adopting 2 children from Democratic Republic of Congo. I am also a volunteer for Our Family Adoptions; a humanitarian aid group that serves children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We are adopting our children with the help of Our Family Adoptions, a non-profit group that charges no agency fees and has an all volunteer staff. Recently, through an amazing grassroots campaign, our organization was awarded $20,000 in the Chase Community Giving Project. This was a grant contest conducted through Facebook; an online social networking site. Approximately 9000 organizations competed for votes. The top 200 vote getters will receive grants. We ended the contest at #107 and therefore won $20,000, which will be used to purchase food and medical supplies for the 6 orphanages that we support in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
