Hill Biomass, Inc., of Cook, has purchased the remaining assets of the former Ainsworth OSB plant, south of Cook. In a press statement issued Friday, the company indicates that it plans to use the facility for the production of biomass for various markets.

The company did not immediately indicate a restart date for the plant, nor how many new jobs the facility might create. The Timberjay will have the full story in its Dec. 12 edition.
