"Hadda Havit", a 1953 Chris-Craft Racing Runabout was one of the sleekest boats in the water at the boat show.

"Sparky", a 1940 Lyman, was entered by Jeff and Nancy Stebbins of Lake Vermilion.
"Sploosh", a 1939 Chris-Craft Deluxe Utility boat, took home the Skipper's Award. The boat is owned by Sherwood and Mary Heggen of Osceola, Minn.
This 1961 Thompson Sea Lancer drew plenty of onlookers. The boat was entered by Roger and Eric Johnson of Lake Vermilion.
Kirsten and Mark Tompkins in their 1950 Chris-Craft "Kizmet".
"Kizmet", a 1950 Chris-Craft Express Kit, is owned by Mark and Kirsten Tompkins of Forest Lake.
The Shell Lake Rocket. a 1958 fiberglass model, resembled classic cars from the era.
The mahogany shine of Lil' Red, a home-built model entered by Ed Sheldon, reflected the sunlight.
Bob Buttery with his boat show entry "Persistence". It took nearly three decades before Buttery restored the 1958 Century Resorter to its prime.
