I am requesting that the Timberjay reduce the size of the dead horse's photo. It is inflammatory and sad. I spent weeks trying to find someone to put my blind horse out of his misery. He was 14 years old, blind and afraid. I phoned dozens of people trying to find a humane way to end his misery. I was rescued, finally by a vet from Ely. My horse's life wasn't wasted. He was mercifully shot in the head and recycled as sled-dog food. He is now running forever and didn't suffer for a moment. Animal lovers do not need to see huge blow ups of a dead animal that obviously suffered before it mercifully died.
