Thank you for this article on the world famous Lynn, best friend of Lily and Hope and more than 93,000 followers on Facebook. I saw Lynn on "Today" on Jan. 11 and thought I should check it out, not knowing that I would become obsessed with following the activity in Lily's Den.
A perfect example of the power of the den cam was last Sunday when Hope left the den for 5 hours and noone knew where she was or if she was safe after we heard a dog bark. Hours later we (93,000+) were all relieved when Sue from the Bear Center reported on line that she was bedded down with Lily just 10 feet from the den.
We have all laughed when Lily has pulled in the camera/microphone tubes into the den and Lynn had to come and "rescue" the high tech equipment with his soft voice, grapes, and nuts. We are in awe of his repore with Lily.
And we all turn down the volumne of our computers when Hope starts her "mama" cry! Each day we also vote for Ely as the coolest smallest town in America, and we are also planing to travel to Ely later this summer.
We have our DVRs set for Lynn's appearances on "Today" and
Martha Stewart" and "Animal Planet" next week. We are all hoping for a camera outside the den and more den cameras next January. Thank you for getting out the word.
