Regarding the tree hugger's lawsuits over the 'haze' in the BWCA, that supposedly detracts users from a perfect experience, is a fine example of federal gov't ridiculousness. I have heard that our taconite plants are not responsible for any of it, due to the direction of the prevailing winds. It would cost the already troubled industry BILLIONS of dollars to comply with further aggressive emission requirements for an imaginary problem. Progressives, and the current administration do not like mining, logging and even farming. Tilling fields creates 'dust' you know. They would prefer that all 'dirty work' be done off-shore. Out of sight, in countries with little or no environmental protection. We should all just make a living toting canoes in the summer or shuffling paper. I support mining, and thankfully I am going back to work in August after a 1 year lay-off.
