People come first, before the fictitious claims that coal is a major contributor to global warming. If the billions of dollars the communist Obama gave to failed solar energy companies was directed to helping the coal burning industry continue to improve their stack emissions, our electric rates would not go up 4 fold.
92% of the nations poorest rural people get their electricity from coal-fired power plants, mostly through their rural electric cooperatives. Electricity for the nation's poorest people is a major expense for these people, but the communist, inner city Obama doesn't care about the poor rural people. Only his family murderers in Southside Chicago.
