I know in the past I would see moose in the spring that at first I thought it was a albino moose,closer look it was a moose with at least half its hair missing and the skin was a chalk white color.
I assume it rubbed off all its hair trying to get rid of the thousands of ticks on him. I have seen this more than once in the past few years.
Seems like the harder the winter,better for moose and worst for deer and wolves.
