Its sad that the NRA has not changed its stance and become resonable. Back in 1994 the head of the NRA said I realize that not outlawing armour piercing bullets that will go thru bullet proof vests more policemen will get killed,but it is worth it(how sic are these folks) because we will retain are rights. Some think it is more important to have assualt rifles than save children.

I think some people have obtained the mentality of the taliban and is heading our country in that direction. They can reason whatever they want.

I suppose their solution,each school bus will have a armed officer,football games,maybe a dozen officers carrying weapons-when does it end.

Drugs like Opium don't kill people people do-so why outlaw drugs? Their is a reason why in both cases.

You should also read and look up What Warren Burger Head of the Supreme court at one time, appointed by a conservative Republican president said about the second Admendment.

What about what Ronald Reagan said-there has to be some control over assualt weapons.
