Mr. Bakk, we have a spending problem. You folks collect enough money to run the states business but the special interests (non-profits especially) will always be clamoring for more. While many do good organizations do wonderful work, many are redundant and inefficient. Get out the sharp pencils and REMOVE all of the fat. Until all waste is removed permanently, please do not ask any taxpayer for more! A little more money should be spent on uncovering and prosecuting fraud however-in both the private and public sectors.
