Steve: You are spot on with your comments. The Essential Air Service question still begs me. On a radio talk show I listen to from time to time WDSM, I thought I recall the question being posed to Mr. Cravaack. If I remember correctly, he insisted he got the Brainerd, Hibbing and International Falls airports inserted in the bill, along with other regional airports in the prairie and mountain west. I wish I knew the bill number so I could look it up myself, since it keeps coming up this political season.
On the subject of his wife and children moving closer to her job on the East Coast, I wouldn't have purchased a home there. I would have leased or rented. It just didn't look good and some of us that advised him on his first run realized immediately it would be a problem for him. Therefore, I have said all along Mr. Cravaack is going to have to deal with this issue himself, just as he did when he made his initial decision to purchase rather than lease.
